THE THIRD DIMENSION

2 Corinthians 12:1-5, "It is not expedient for me doubtless to glory. I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord. I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body I cannot tell; or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven. And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter. Of such an one will I glory: yet of myself I will not glory, but in mine infirmities."

In these verses, Paul was talking about the third heaven. In accordance to the Word of God, there are in fact, three heavens.

  1. The 1st Heaven - The sky we see.
  2. The 2nd Heaven - Where the devil is. The Bible calls him the prince of the power of the air.
  3. The 3rd Heaven - Where God lives. This is where Paul was taken.

The three heavens here are symbolic of 3 dimensions of God's power in the life of a believer.

  1. The Flesh Touch - This is what most of us in the church world are accustomed to, flesh touches. We have experienced moves of the Spirit upon our flesh.
  2. The Heart Touch - This is when it gets not just on your flesh to make you shout, but it also gets down in your heart and it changes you. It changes your heart, it changes your attitude, it changes your perspective, it changes your everything!
  3. The Spirit Touch - The third dimension is finally the realm where it not only gets on your flesh, and it not only changes your heart, but it gets into your spirit and it turns you upside down for Jesus. It sets you ablaze with the holy fire of God. It takes you into an entirely different realm of power and anointing.

How can we enter into the third dimension? Well, one way is you can enter into the 3rd dimension through the 3rd dimension of worship. And, there in fact, three levels of worship.

  1. The first level of worship is - Worship because you are commanded to. This is worship because the Bible tells us to and we obey it's commands.
  2. The second level of worship is - Worship through the sacrifice of praise. This is when you worship not because you are commanded to do so, but rather do it whether you feel like it or not because you just love the Lord so much you can't help but worship Him!
  3. Then, the third level of worship is - This is when you move beyond worshiping God because you have been commanded to do so. And, you move beyond worshiping God because you just want to. It is when the power of the Holy Ghost so over takes you, you don't have any option except to let loose a praise unto God. It is when the Spirit of the Lord breaks you out of your normalcy and places you into an entirely different plane of worship and intimacy with God. This my friends is one of the things that will usher you into the 3rd dimension of God's anointing and power!

Oh God! Take us into that 3rd dimension of Your glory I pray! Amen!
