RADICAL CHRISTIANITY

I wonder sometimes if anyone really understands what radical Christianity all is about in this modern-day church of ours. Our churches are filled with people who think they are getting radical is they stand up in a service and say Hallelujah! Or radical is if they raise their hand. Or, oh my goodness, they might, are you ready for this? They might even – SHOUT!

My friends, radical Christianity is in my view, and from everything I've read and studied in scripture, in God's view as well, not anything to do with that stuff! But rather, it is a life-long dedication to the things of God to the point where you might even seem weird to other people. Even other Christians!

It is not being normal as far as the world goes, and even for that matter, as far as the normal church goes! It is not backing down during persecution but rather becoming stronger and more than determined than ever. So much so, that the devil and even the people who are attacking you have to shake their heads in amazement!

It is believing God to do the supernatural. It is believing God to do things that no one else would dare to believe. It is believing that in the face of those nay-sayers and doubt-peddlers who don't believe God can't do the supernatural anymore! It is not backing down in your faith and beliefs even if the whole church world thinks your wacko! Why? Because radical Christians know their God intimately and know what He can and what He will do!

Radical Christianity is going beyond the norm. It is going beyond the normal spectrum of what the "average" person would even dare to believe or to live like. It is a life so sold out to God that people tend to misunderstand you and even put you down. And I'm not just talking about in the world either! Even in the church, you will have believer's and even ministers who will mock you and scorn you because you would rather live on the cutting edge of what God is doing in the earth than anything else! Because, for the radical believer, fame and fortune and even the accolades of men, will not suffice! No! Only the power of a powerful God flowing through you will satisfy your longing, hungry soul!

So, arise radical Christians! Arise and fulfill your calling and your destiny within the earth! Arise and pull down the strongholds and principalities! Arise and go forth, ushering in the coming of our Lord and King!
