MIRACLE SEED SOWING
by Steve Pegram

The Bible is clear on certain principles, very clear. On these certain principles, there is no room for argument or discussion. For instance, when it says that "no" sin shall enter into the portals of heaven, you can rest assure that it means, "no" sin. When it says that Jesus is the "only" way, the truth and the life, you can rest assured that He is the "only" way, truth and life. When it says that you "must" be born again, you can count on it, that you "must" be born again.

We all can relate to and understand such principles as those mentioned above. Why? Because those and others like them are known as the basic rudiments or tenants of our faith. They are the underlying truths that we hold dear to our hearts as the foundational corner stones that undergird us.

But, why do we have a tendency to accept these more easily than others? Because these seem to be more "spiritual". We accept these as spiritual, while we denounce other things as being less than spiritual, or shall we say, less important. Less Important??!! How could anyone say that certain portions of the Holy Bible are more important than others, or visa versa? You cannot take what you want out of the Word of God and throw the rest away! You have to take ALL of it, or none of it.

Why am I saying all of this? Because, while we accept the above named principles as spiritual, we declare that others are not on the same plane, for instance, money issues. But this is directly opposite of what the Word teaches us and what Jesus Himself said. As a matter of fact, if you will do a careful study of the Bible, you will find that there are dozens, if not hundreds, of scriptural principles concerning money matters. How is this accomplished? Sometimes by coming right out and talking about money, calling it by name. But, many other times, it is accomplished by the principle of seed offering.

On this issue, the Bible is crystal clear. You cannot reap what you do not sow. You cannot reap corn if you planted an apple tree. You cannot reap much if you have sown little. To him who sows little, little shall be reaped. But, to him that sows much, there is a larger harvest coming. Your harvest is proportionate to your level of seed faith.

For some reason, the church of our modern day has totally lost it's perspective on what seed offering should be. We do not know for the most part, how to sow miracle seed offerings. Most of the emphasis is placed by Pastors especially to just tithe, tithe, tithe. But my friends, tithing is just a small part of what God's miracle seed faith sowing is all about. But, sadly, because so much emphasis has been placed upon tithing alone, and so little emphasis has been placed on teaching our people the truth about seed sowing, we have a spiritually and financially impoverished people who need to break out of that poverty mentality and move into God's miraculous provision!

I do not have time nor space to go into detail about all of God's rules concerning seed sowing. But, I would challenge you to do something on your own. Study God's Word. Study out all the references to tithing, offerings, giving, and seed sowing and harvest. I believe that you will be amazed when you find out that God had probably more to say about finances in His Word than any other topic, except salvation and redemption of mankind. Then, once you have looked for yourself and let your faith grow within you, I believe that you too will plant seeds for an end-time harvest.
