I'VE LEARNED...
by Kathy Pegram

I've Learned - You can do something in an instant that will give you a headache for the life.

I've Learned - It's taken me a long time to become the person I want to be. And there's still a ways to go.

I've Learned - You should always leave loved ones with loving words, it may be the last time you see them.

I've Learned - You can keep going long after you think you can't.

I've Learned - Your family will not always be there for you. It may seem funny, but people you aren't related to can take care of you, love you, and teach you to trust people again. Families are not biological.

I've Learned - No matter how good a friend is, he/she is going to hurt you every once in a while and you must forgive them for that.

I've Learned - It isn't always enough to be forgiven by others. Sometimes you have to learn to forgive yourself.

I've Learned - No matter how bad your heart is broken, the world doesn't stop for your grief.

I've Learned - Our background and circumstances may have influenced who we are, but aren't responsible for who we become.

I've Learned - Just because two people argue, it doesn't mean they don't love each other and just because they don't, it doesn't mean they do.

I've Learned - We don't have to change friends if we understand that friends change.

I've Learned - You shouldn't be eager to find out a secret. It could change your life forever.

I've Learned - Two people can look at the exact same thing and see something totally different.

I've Learned - Your life can be changed in a matter of hours by people who don't know you!

I've Learned - Even when you think you don't have any more to give, when a friend cries out you will find the strength.

I've Learned - Credentials on the wall do not make a decent human being.

I've Learned - The people you care about the most in life are the ones you need to be the most attentive and careful with.

I've Learned - God is God, and I'm not!

I wish I could say this was a list I made up myself. But, truthfully I stumbled across it at a one of our crusades. After reading it over I thought I would share it with you. Hope you enjoy it and can add a few of your own to it.

Love & Prayers,
Kathy
