“And he said to them, ‘Look at me and do likewise; watch, and when I come to the edge of the camp you shall do as I do: When I blow the trumpet, I and all who are with me, then you also blow the trumpets on every side of the whole camp, and say, The sword of the Lord and of Gideon!’ So Gideon and the hundred men who were with him came to the outpost of the camp at the beginning of the middle watch, just as they had posted the watch; and they blew the trumpets and broke the pitchers that were in their hands. Then the three companies blew the trumpets and broke the pitchers—they held the torches in their left hands and the trumpets in their right hands for blowing—and they cried, ‘The sword of the Lord and of Gideon!’ And every man stood in his place all around the camp; and the whole army ran and cried out and fled. When the three hundred blew the trumpets, the Lord set every man’s sword against his companion throughout the whole camp; and the army fled.” (Judges 7:17-22 NKJV)
Throughout the Word of God, we can find this phrase, “The sword of the Lord,” or references to God having a sword. There are many Scriptures that prove that God has a sword to defend HIs people. It is a powerful sword. It is a sharp sword. It is a sword of victory. It is a sword of might. It is The Sword of the Lord!
Victory Is Promised To Us By The Sword (Leviticus 26:7-8)

The sword of the Lord can cut through anything (Hebrews 4:12)
Not only can we take confidence in the above listed verses of Scripture, we also can know that although there will be times He will have to cut away some things from our life, it is for our own good. It is not God's will to harm you. He only wants to help you grow up, and sometimes growing up means that we get corrected for our own benefit. Look at the things below that God seeks to remove from our lives in order that we can become all He has intended us to be, and if there are any of these things still in your life, don't deny it; don't pretend you don't have any thing that He needs to cut away. Admit it. Ask for His help. Ask Him to cut away these things that you can grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ unto the full stature of a grown, victorious Christian and no longer one tormented.

We, as Christian warriors of the cross of Jesus Christ, must realize that when we get in the thick of battle with our enemy, that we can take confidence in knowing that the God that we serve knows how to use His sword! It should give us peace of mind in the middle of the storm; calmness in the middle of turbulence; steadfastness when the big bad devil tries to huff and puff our spiritual house down! When we gave our heart and lives to Jesus upon accepting Him as our Lord and Savior, we joined a royal family; a family that has never lost a battle; never known defeat in any way; never had any equal and never will!
