5 STEPS TO FULFILLING YOUR DREAM

“Hear what God says! In the last days, I will offer My Spirit to humanity as a libation. Your children will boldly speak the word of the Lord. Young warriors will see visions, and your elders will dream dreams.” (Acts 2:17 VOICE)

“And Joseph remembered the dreams which he dreamed of them...” (Genesis 42:9)

Too many times, we, the people of God, tend to abort our dreams. We do so because we feel like we are not worthy to fulfill our destiny in Christ. The enemy just loves to manipulate our mind with thoughts of not feeling worthy. After all, how can God use someone like me? Right? Isn't that just like what we hear whenever we receive a dream of a victorious future from God?

Well, let me tell you something – you are a somebody in the Kingdom of God! You are not a nobody. You are a victorious child of God that has a glorious future ahead of you. If God gives you a dream down into your spirit-man, don't allow either your flesh or the devil to abort that seed. God gave it to you for a reason. You may not feel worthy to fulfill it, but you are!

I want to just briefly give you 5 steps to fulfilling that dream that God has deposited down into you. I want you to look these 5 points over and remember, that “greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world!”

  1. Hold Fast to the dream that God has given to you. And, if He gives it to you early in life, hold fast even that much more! Do not divert from the path God has put you on. Do not play fast and loose with the dream – hold on to it so tight that your knuckles turn white!
  2. Expect God's Favor in the sight of others. And, I'll go one step further, expect God's favor in spite of others! Those around you may not understand the dream. They may even laugh and scoff at the dream, but do not let others steal the favor from you.
  3. Remain Faithful, no matter how long it takes. Do not compromise, especially when it seems your dream or vision is slow in coming. We live in an instant age today, where everything is given to us so fast we have come to expect it at all times. Sometimes, though, the dream God has given may take some time to come to fruition.
  4. Believe that God is faithful to fulfill that which He has promised. Also, believe that He is sufficient to help you keep believing your dream.
  5. Trust at all times the sovereignty of God and the power of God to keep your dream and vision that He gave you. Nothing can steal your future, your destiny, your purpose, your dream from God who created it for you!
