Dear Pastor,

I just wanted to take this time to personally address you and let you know how much I appreciate the vital role that you play in the Body of Christ. After traveling this nation from coast to coast for now into my 13th year, I have seen Pastors face almost every type of obstacle and circumstance. I have seen Pastor's families suffer, and have on more than one occasion sat and listened to the hurt and pain that has come out of Pastor's hearts because of what they have faced.

When I come to churches to conduct crusades, I don't just come to preach, and I don't just come to edify the church. But rather, I come also for YOU! I have always made my order of priorities three-fold when I come to a local church. Number one, my first priority is to God. Secondly, my next priority is to YOU, the Pastor. And then, finally, my third priority is to your church. God placed it upon my heart years ago that if I didn't place the priority of the Pastor even above the congregations, that when I leave that particular church, I will not have helped that Pastor, but rather hurt him or her.

Too many times Pastors have been burned by itinerate evangelists who have come in and did not give honor and due respect to the shepherd of the fold. You, dear Pastor, are the under-shepherd of their souls who answers directly to the Chief Shepherd, Jesus Christ. And because of that responsibility, it is your duty to protect your flock against ravening wolves. That is why we, at Steve Pegram Ministries, covenant with you that if you ever entrust us with the honor of coming to your church, you will know that we will work with you in any way possible. We will come to further the cause of Christ at your church and in your community, and not self-glorification or self-promotion.
